Martinsville events start from today

Today –

  • Grace Network’s Pumpkin Patch, as a charity event for the nonprofit, is open from 1–7 pm by the Mulberry and Starling in Martinsville.

Tuesday –

  • Free community dinner, at Grace Baptist Church in Ridgeway, U.S. 220 at 6:30 pm.
  • Henry County Electoral Board, at the Henry County Administration Building at 10 am.
  • The Garden is on display at Piedmont Arts on Oct 10. Visiting hours, 10 am – 3 pm, and visitors are required to maintain social distancing and wear face masks.

Wednesday –

  • Free community meal, at Christ Episcopal Church, 311 East Church St. from 5:30–6:15 pm.
  • Free community meal, at Smith Memorial United Methodist Church, around John Redd Boulevard and Daniels Creek Road. Call 276-647-8150 to book a meal by 2 pm. Leave a message including your name, contact number, and the number of members if prompted by the answering machine.

Thursday –

  • Livestream performance, Morgan Wolfsinger, aka Cathy Demott would go live on TheatreWorks Community Players on Youtube at 7 pm.
  • Happy hour Art, at Piedmont Arts from 5-7p.m.Social distancing and masks are mandatory. It is free of cost.

Friday –

Saturday –

  • Fab Lab Family Day, at Patrick Henry Community College at 10 am. Register at $15 per person
  • Brunswick Stew, at Figsboro Ruritan Club, 599 Hidden Valley Drive. $8 per quart from 7 am to noon.
